If you are about to have a baby soon or are just new to parenthood, it is easy to be confused about all the things your baby will need. It is completely normal, a lot of parents can relate to this feeling. Something to consider is the bedding your baby will be sleeping on. You may want to buy different ones if you are having a girl as opposed to a boy.

Your baby is going to require a lot of items and also a lot of space. Therefore, it makes sense to buy convertible baby furniture. For example, your baby will need a crib to sleep in. But what about when they grow? Do you want to spend more money on bigger cribs, child-sized beds, and eventually bigger beds? Of course not. That is why buying a crib that can converts into a larger bed is a smart buying option. This way, you save money even when your baby outgrows their crib.

As for inside the crib, many companies offer a bedding collection that is just right for your baby. Which one you choose usually is according to the gender of your baby. If you are having a girl, you probably would choose something different than that of if you are having a boy.

Parents stick to buying certain colors and patterns for baby girls. Shades of pinks and purples are among the most popular color options for girls. Twinkling stars, cupcakes, bows, butterflies, rabbits, hearts, and ladybug baby bedding are nice patterns for girls.

As for boys, the colors blue and green and often bought. Parents typically buy boys patterns on their bedding like dinosaurs, sports-related patterns, cars, trains, and toys. Usually, something more masculine rather than feminine is bought.

Both girls and boys can share the same type of bedding if it is neutral. White, red, yellow, and orange are among the colors that are considered to be unisex. Baby bottles, cartoon characters, booties, bears, storks, and strollers are patterns that match both genders. Neutral bedding is a good buy because it can be reused for another baby (if you plan on having more) no matter the gender.

So if you are unsure on which kind of bedding to get for your baby, consider the options. Things that can convert save you money. Different bedding for girls and boys or neutral themes should be decided on. Either way, it’s important to plan for your baby and their future.
